Our passion for Aussie talent runs deep, and we couldn’t pass up the chance to bring our favourite Australian made and designed gifts together in one fun and convenient online store. And just like that, the Luxah baby was born!
WHAT WE’RE ABOUT
Luxah is all about supporting Australian businesses, which is why we only stock brands that are Aussie owned and operated. Many of our suppliers are small businesses, and we love that!
The online retail industry has changed dramatically with the rise of Amazon and businesses relying on drop shipping—a model where stores sell products they’ve never seen, touched, or tested for quality.
Our goal is to bring a personal touch back to online retail. Every product is handpicked and stored in our clean, air-conditioned facility, ready to be for delivery. We never outsource our processing or gift-wrapping services.

Ever wondered how we got our name? Luxah isn’t inspired by “Laksa” (even though it’s delicious). It’s our take on “Luxe,” with a little extra pizazz—Lux’ah!

That’s why we created the Luxah Icons—quick, visual cues that highlight key product features! Now, everyone interprets labels differently, so we’ve outlined exactly what they mean to us. 0% Animal ingredients/materials used to make up the product & NO Animal Testing.
Our Cruelty-Free & Vegan icon represents both, but some products may only meet one of these criteria. For example, an item containing beeswax won’t carry this icon, even if no animal testing was involved. Please note; this is not the official CCF Rabbit logo (Choose Cruelty Free Australia). Accreditation requires strict legal processes and fees, so while some of our brands are officially certified, others simply know their products meet these standards.
HAND MADE WITH LOVE
Majority of the making process process is controlled by hand AND produced in small batches.
We consider a product handmade when a significant portion of it’s creation is done by hand, rather than mass-produced by machines. While most of our products are made with love, we can’t guarantee the maker was feeling the love at that exact moment—unless it’s a Luxah collaboration, in which case, we promise a total love fest!

This icon applies to both ingredients and materials. Some skincare products, for example, may be 95–99% natural but contain a preservative or fragrance. Note: Natural and organic aren’t the same! Organic ingredients are natural but must also be harvested and produced without synthetic additives. If that’s important to you, check the product description for “organic” certification.
