Meet Banjo Kippins – Your little one’s new best friend!
This sweet little koala is more than just a cute face. Banjo Kippins is made from 100% organic cotton, printed with eco-friendly, water-based inks, and filled with soft Better Fill™ polyester. No nasties, no microplastics, and absolutely no buttons or electronics. Just safe, snuggly goodness your little one will love to chew, tug, and cuddle.
Banjo is a soft grey koala with the friendliest face, golden cheeks, and a charming Aussie-inspired design. His blankie body and ears are covered with gum leaves, gum nuts, and tiny stars — all in gentle greens and greys for a calm, soothing feel. The knotted corners are easy for little hands to grab and little gums to chew.

Why avoid faux fur? Many plush toys are made from synthetic fabrics that shed microplastics, irritate delicate skin, and disrupt temperature regulation. Banjo is different. He’s natural, lightweight, and made from organic cotton — the kind of baby comforter you’ll feel good about having near your baby’s face.
Pro Tip: Always keep a spare. You’ll thank yourself on laundry day or during one of those “Where’s Banjo?” moments.
Banjo Kippins can be used from birth as part of your supervised nap and bedtime routine. According to Red Nose safe sleeping guidelines, soft toys should not be left in the cot unsupervised before 7 months of age. For more information, see our Kippins Organic Baby Comforter info post.
Kippins was born from one simple (but very sleepy) mission: to help little ones — and their parents — get the rest they need. When founder Heather was pregnant with her first child in 2012, she went searching for the perfect baby comforter. Something soft, organic, machine washable, ethically made, and, of course, super cool. But nothing quite fit. One night, after a vivid pregnancy dream, the very first Kippins baby comforter was sketched. From there, a dream turned into reality. After years of perfecting, Kippins officially launched in 2014. Since then, tens of thousands of babies (and their well-rested parents) have fallen in love with these playful, eco-friendly companions.
