Heather Rowland, one of the co-founders of Kippins, faced a dilemma during her first pregnancy in 2012. She wanted to find the perfect comforter for her baby, which would be cool, organic, machine washable, and ethically produced to ensure the baby felt secure when away from Mum or Dad. However, she couldn’t find a product that met all her requirements. One night, Heather had a strange pregnancy dream that led her to sketch out the first Kippin. After several years of development, Kippins was launched in 2014 and has since brought comfort to tens of thousands of happy babies. Heather and her husband, David, who is also a co-founder, run the company, and their two sons, Jack and Tommy, provide valuable product testing.
