Well, you place the biggest piece behind the ear and connect the 2 pieces together with the stud, fastening the end of the stud through one of the 3 tiny holes on the main piece. When worn correctly, you shouldn’t see the main plate with the holes, just the stud through the ear and the bottom of the earring on the main piece should be peeking through underneath the ear.
